CREATIVE

The purchaser has done due-diligence on the unique calligraphy/artwork style offered by Love and Paperie and is happy to proceed with ordering product based on the work samples.

It is important that proofs are carefully checked over before proceeding to print, as we are not able to offer any amendments once it has been approved.

TIMEFRAMES

Upon approval of your design, normal printing timeframes are 3-5 weeks. Allow an additional 1-2 weeks if you are adding any embellishments or add-on services like calligraphy guest addressing and vintage postage curation.

On the rare occasion that we should require to change or extend these dates, you will be notified immediately. It is important to consider that design revisions and/or delays in feedback may affect the timeline and potentially delay your order.

SCREEN VS. PRINT

We do our best to display all products and materials and colors as accurately as possible. However, please keep in mind, what you see on a screen may be slightly varied to the finished product. The color you see will depend on your computer system and/or monitor.

VARIANCES

Calligraphy is handwritten, please note there will be slight letterform/script and placement variances throughout. 

Our handmade papers are made by hand, which means there may be minor size, weight, texture and color variations between pieces. Our letterpress printing process features matte inks that are hand-mixed, slight variances in ink color are to be expected. We celebrate the variations that are inherent to these handmade items.

PRICING & PAYMENTS

All pricing is in United State Dollars and do not include postage costs. All costs are subject to change without further notice. On the rare occasion that a product is incorrectly priced, we reserve the right to cancel or refund the order.

 

PUBLICATION

Should images of work curated by Love and Paperie be published, Love and Paperie must be correctly credited and notified of the publication prior to its feature. This is valid to both printed publications and online blog features. 

We retain the rights to post your invitations/wedding goods on our website and social media. If there is an issue with us doing so, please advise beforehand.

SHIPPING

Packages are sent via tracked UPS/USPS delivery. Upon shipment, you will receive your tracking link. Targeted delivery timeframes are 1-3 working days within the US.

We have no guarantee or control over shipment timeframes (besides the information provided via the tracking number) and advise allowing a longer lead-time, to allow for any potential delays during shipment. We are not responsible, nor may be held liable for any losses, damages or delays due to shipping.

PROOFING

Please ensure you carefully check over all proofs thoroughly including content/spelling, layout, card sizes/color/type, font size and ink color.

Although we thoroughly check over all handwritten goods, occasionally errors may occur. In this instance, please contact us immediately and we will send a correction or refund the amount paid for the incorrectly written goods, if a correction is not available for any reason. If the error is on the list provided by you, the correction will incur additional writing/shipping costs.

If any changes are needed after items are sent to print (including edits to content, number of pieces, added embellishments) reprint costs and added service set up will be billed to the client. Mistakes made on envelopes (wrong address, guests that have moved, incorrect spellings) will also be billed to the client for reprint fees.

REORDER POLICY

In the event that the client requires additional pieces to be printed outside the agreed upon quantity, after materials have already been ordered and delivered to a client, a minimum order quantity of x20 will be required and a reorder fee of 20% will apply. Embellishment items including, but not limited to, ribbon & wax seals cannot be reordered.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATION

Due to the handmade nature of calligraphy and of our products, we are not able to offer refunds, returns or cancellations.

Should a mistake be made on our part, we will either reprint or provide a credit for the misprint. If there is an error with the wording/design spelling, grammar, size, color, etc. approved by the client, the redesign, reprint and shipping will be to the cost of the Client and not Love and Paperie.

COPYRIGHT

The designer owns all copyrights in any and all work(s) it creates or produces pursuant to federal copyright law (Title 17, Chapter 2, Section 201-02 of the United States Code), whether registered or unregistered.

All designs, images and artwork on this site are protected by copyright and are the sole property of Love and Paperie unless otherwise indicated. This includes all designs, images and artworks used during the proofing process. Under no circumstances may this work be used for personal use, nor may it be repurposed or derivative works be made from it.

Client may ship, display, and enjoy the work(s) designer creates for client, but client may not under any circumstances alter or sell all or part of these work(s). For example, client may not hire designer to create wedding invitation suites and use any of the artwork on the suites on additional artwork or stationery, such as menus, sandwich boards, guest charts, or other work(s).
